At the crack of dawn I m awake, eyes still wanting to sleep

I my mind their is a strange relief

It’s like by saying the final good bye; you have snapped what was the last straw of doubt holding us together

It was never meant to be.... you told me in my weak moments and I held the same ground when you trembled...

What has to last it does..... This had to snap and it did....

The promises were not fake, the love not deceptive

Though a moment in life, it lasted a lifetime...

I saw the beauty and I lived in it...
